Quality & Compliance

Quality & Compliance

Your compliance team should be able to say yes to us quickly.

When a Licensed Producer or distributor qualifies a pre-roll cone supplier, the product itself is only half the evaluation. Your QA and regulatory teams need to know what the paper is, where it comes from, how the cones are made, and what paperwork will stand behind every batch that enters your facility. A supplier who cannot produce that paperwork becomes your problem at audit time.

ConesWorld has produced more than 500 million cones across 5 manufacturing facilities, supplying bulk buyers who operate under strict regulatory oversight. This page summarizes our quality posture: the standards we work to, the inspection process every order passes through, and the documentation pack we provide to procurement and compliance teams on request.

Our cones and tubes are unfilled paper products. They contain no cannabis and ship as standard commercial goods — but we build and document them as if they were going straight into a regulated product, because they are.

Certifications & standards

The standards below apply across our manufacturing operations. We do not publish certificate numbers on this page; supporting documentation is shared directly with qualified B2B buyers so your team can verify it at the source.

Standard What it covers Verification
FSC paper sourcing Rolling papers sourced through FSC-certified supply chains, supporting responsibly managed forestry from pulp to finished cone. Documentation available on request
GMP practices Good Manufacturing Practices governing hygiene, material handling, and process control on our production lines. Documentation available on request
ISO 9001:2015 Quality management system covering process documentation, corrective action, and continuous improvement across manufacturing. Documentation available on request
Food-grade inks Printed and branded cones use food-grade inks suitable for products intended for consumption. Documentation available on request
Health Canada labeling support Packaging and labeling support aligned with Health Canada requirements for Licensed Producers, including plain-packaging constraints for custom work. Documentation available on request

Certificates, audit summaries, and supporting records are provided during supplier qualification. If your onboarding process requires a specific document format or a supplier questionnaire, send it over — completing buyer-side qualification paperwork is part of how we work.

Our 5-step QA process

Every bulk order passes through the same five checkpoints between raw paper and your loading dock. Consistency at scale is a process outcome, not an accident.

1

Incoming paper QC

Every inbound lot of rolling paper is inspected against sourcing and material specifications before it is released to production. Non-conforming lots are quarantined and rejected.

2

Gum-line inspection

Seam adhesion is checked during the run to catch weak gum lines — the most common cause of cones splitting during automated filling on Futurola, STM, and King Kone equipment.

3

Dimensional tolerance checks

Length, tip diameter, and taper are measured against spec throughout production so cones seat correctly in filling machine trays and deliver consistent packed weights.

4

Batch traceability

Each production batch is coded and traceable back to its paper lot, production line, and date — so any question about a shipment can be answered at the batch level, not the guess level.

5

Pre-ship AQL sampling

Before release, finished goods are sampled to an AQL plan covering seam integrity, dimensions, fill readiness, and cosmetic defects. Orders ship only after the lot passes.

What’s in the documentation pack

For supplier qualification, we provide a standard documentation pack. It is designed to answer the questions your QA and regulatory teams will ask before the first purchase order.

Document What it tells your team
COA sample A representative Certificate of Analysis showing the test parameters and reporting format you can expect with production batches.
MSDS Material Safety Data Sheets for cone papers, gum, and inks, for your facility’s safety and handling records.
Material declarations Composition and sourcing declarations for paper, tips, gum, and inks — including food-grade ink declarations for printed products.
Spec sheets Dimensional and tolerance specifications per SKU, including machine compatibility notes for Futurola, STM, and King Kone systems.

Additional records — batch-specific COAs, audit documentation, or completed supplier questionnaires — are available to active and qualifying B2B accounts.

Tell us what your qualification process requires and we’ll send the relevant documents. Include your license type and volumes if you’d like pricing and lead times in the same reply.
